Love It! November 5, 2012
Reviewer: Bob Smithing from Kent, WA United States
I've used a variety of mounts for my cameras over the years and of them all this best adapts to my back pack or harness (depends on the day). Easy in and easy out. I like the safety strap especially when I'm leaning over something with a vertical drop. I'm usually carrying a D3S with a 200-500mm zoom to shot wildlife. Smaller lenses are even easier to carry. Highly recommend it. Also when I've had questions company has been great.

Unique carrying system works well September 22, 2012
Reviewer: Bill from Boulder, CO United States
I used the Strapshot to to attach a Nikon D300 with an 18-270mm lens to my #34 loaded pack for a 6 day wilderness trip.  Carrying a larger/heavier camera/lens works very well, is immediately accessible, and the Cottoncarrier tether provides reassurance.  My only recommendation would be to widen the top of the slot to make it easier to locate the camera into the slot...but this is very minor.  I was quite happy with the performance of the product.

The included strap is a nice touch when using the Strapshot although I found it a) restricted my access to controls on the camera and b) wasn't really needed since I could get the camera back into the Strapshot so easily.  I stopped using the strap after the first few hours.
