I just received the Cotton Carrier Sliding Sling Tether Strap - very soon after ordering it. I had been using a (cannibalized) Black Rapid strap that altered to I attach to the side of the camera while using the Cotton Carrier Endeavor waist belt. I have a heavy Canon M7II camera with an even heavier a telephoto lens and hike in dense woods for wildlife photos and needed the additional security of the strap in the event of losing my grip while doing hand-held shots in precarious settings.. The BR was cumbersome and the heavy swivel clip scraped the side of the camera. The Cotton Carrier Sliding Sling Tether Strap has an easy release clip in tether that attached to the sling. This will allow me a much easier time of packing up the camera at the end of the outing. I did attach a small swivel clip to the end of the tether, that I think will work well for me. I will also be using a simple clip on cord between the strap and my Endeavor belt (slightly behind the location of the camera) to aid in keeping the strap snug while taking shots. (I had also used one with the BR strap for the same reason, as I like to take quick, hand held shots.) The Cotton Carrier strap will work much better for me, more comfortable and fits me much better and than the BR curved (for women) strap.

I've tried plenty of straps but this is the best by far. The pad is comfortable, it adjusts easily, and I have no question it'll support my camera.

Strap connects nicely to the camera quick snap connector...solid click, stays in place. The sling itself....not so much. No cross strap means the sling will not stay in place on your shoulder. Constantly having to "straighten" it. Made me want to "sling" it in the trash😁

The shoulder pad is constantly sliding around as the sling doesn't stay put.
