I purchased this the week prior to going on a long trip to Minnesota. I was able to use the slingbag a few times during the trip. Overall, the bag is great and worked very well for my needs.

There are two issues, in my opinion.
1) It is difficult to adjust the main strap. You have to reach into a small area and remove the strap from the Velcro and then reattach it. My hands were too big to get them into the space, so I had to get my wife to help me with it. I think it should have some other sort of slider to adjust the main strap.
2) Whenever you want to sling the bag forward, you are forced to completely remove your camera from the front mount. If there were some way to lock the camera there or have it hang from a strap, it would be easier to use the bag.

Using for a month and would recommend getting the G2 strap and buying whatever backpack fits your needs. Many times, I want the strap, but not the pack. And suppled pack is sometimes not large enough. Just my two cents.

I treated myself to this bag for a photo vacation after carrying the same bag for 15 years. I mostly love it, but a couple small tweaks would really take it over the edge. I would suggest making the sling a tad easier to adjust and the most important - making a slot on the back of the bag that you can slip over luggage handles. I opted to use this bag as my personal item for a flight and it was a bit awkward to carry or have on in the airport. I really wanted to be able to place it on top of my rolling carry on, but could not. It would make the bag just perfect! Otherwise, it’s functional and works fantastically. A great upgrade for me.
